This custom-built Wooden Motor Yacht was finished in 2014 and was drawn along traditional Dutch double-ended designs. Built by Dartmouth boatbuilder Brian Pomeroy.

Wood Goose catches the eye with her classic lines turning heads wherever she goes. Presented in fantastic condition and very well maintained. The engine has approximately 170 hours and a modern chartplotter and electrical systems provide all the comforts you might require. A great choice if you are looking for a gentleman's motor cruiser that is comfortable on the sea but could just as easily be taken on inland waterways for further adventures.

Clinker planked in good quality Scottish slow grown 7/8″ larch, all copper fastened to laminated 2″x2″ oak frames. Silicone bronze screws in hood ends and garboard planks.

• 9″x5″ sawn Opepe used for the keel, stem and stern post.
• 18mm bronze centreline bolts securing the structure.
• Sawn Iroko floors across the centreline with bronze throat bolts through the keel.
• No external ballast keel.
• 1/3 ton of lead ingots secured under the cabin sole.
• Straight laid 14mm Alaskan Yellow Cedar deck epoxy glued over an 18mm marine plywood sub deck with varnished teak cover boards and toe rails.
• Stainless steel stanchions and guard rails all round.
• Low coachroof with varnished teak faced marine plywood coamings rises at the aft end and joins the wheelhouse which has a varnished Iroko base and sheathed plywood upper sections.
• Wheelhouse windows made of toughened glass with varnished wooden surrounds. Aluminium framed port lights in the coamings.
• Wheelhouse roof and coachroof made using laminated Iroko deck beams with a sheathed marine plywood roof and finished in deck paint.
• Cockpit at the aft end with a hatch into the lazarette.
• Full height door into the wheelhouse at the aft end.

Broker's view: "This is a lovely boat and a fine example of British craftmanship. She will make a perfect coastal or river cruiser and is sure to turn heads wherever she goes. Currently out of the water in Portland and we are able to offer a mooring with BOATFOLK until the end of March 2026 as part of the package."

Mooring with Boatfolk paid until End of March 2026, can be included by negotiation.
